Our Affiliate Lender Bought Out…Wait Till You Hear by Who!

by Peter Toner on February 26, 2008

The turmoil facing the lending industry has caused a lot of concern and alarm amongst consumers. With all of “these” lenders going bankrupt, many are unsure of what lending companies to turn to for their mortgage needs.

Even within our own company we are seeing changes. Our affiliate lender First Capital was recently acquired by HomeServices of America, Inc. and Wells Fargo, receiving a name change to Home Services Lending. The lending team will continue to remain within our Prudential offices as our affiliate lender. Having a team of this caliber on site is a huge asset to us and more importantly to our clients. You can’t beat the fact that there is no phone “queue” or VOIP system to reach them, they are just a few doors down and always available to talk shop with us or our clients.

Now the important stuff…. Going forward they will be backed by four of the Nation’s most respected and stable business institutions: Prudential California Realty, HomeServices of America, Inc., Berkshire Hathaway and the AAA-rated Wells Fargo. It’s hard to find a stronger more qualified backing than that! At a time when many are having doubts about the stability of the lending industry as well as the integrity of its employees, being able to work with a team that is backed with such a qualified lending group should set minds at ease.

Not to mention as the team transitions to Home Services Lending they will now have the ability to use the entire line of Wells Fargo products, as well as the brokering capabilities when challenged with applications that do not fit the more traditional guidelines. Other great bonuses will be closing guarantees on most products, and 85% of loans guaranteed online at point of sale just to name a few.

If you been watching the market and wondering “What can I qualify for?”…we’d be happy get you some guidance. As always feel free to contact us or, you can also contact Greg Parker, our Lead Home Mortgage Consultant, directly at greg.a.parker@hsl-ca.com
